Description
JÖRO x Rook en Spieëls, House White
Origin: Paarl, South Africa
Grape: Palomino
ABV: 12.5%
JORO House White is a rare single-varietal expression of Palomino from Rook en Spieëls, a small winemaking collective in South Africa’s Coastal Region. Sourced from old bush vines planted in 1977 on the high, windswept Piekenierskloof plateau (900m above sea level), this wine showcases the grape in a fresh, modern style.
Naturally fermented with native yeasts and vinified entirely in stainless steel, it’s kept on fine lees until bottling for added texture and subtle savoury complexity. The result is a crisp, mineral-driven white with delicate notes of nectar, honeysuckle, peach, and a distinctive saline edge.
Contains Sulfites.
