Booking terms and conditions:

Dietary Requirements

Vegetarian & Pescatarian menus:

We do cater for dietary requirements, vegetarian & pescatarian menus, however we require a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to your booking date.
Please note on your reservation at the point of booking, including any allergies. If we do not receive this notice we will not be able to provide you with a menu or some dishes may not be served.
Whilst we follow best practice at all times, we would like to state that all dishes we serve are produced in an environment where allergens are also prepared and cooked. We therefore are unable to guarantee that the environment will be completely allergen free.
We are not able to accept dietary requirements on our special events menus. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate the following dietary requirements due to the nature of our tasting menu. Certain ingredients feature considerably heavily and it is therefore not possible for us to avoid/remove them:

Coeliac
Alcohol (this can be cooked through but traces will be present) Lactose (egg and dairy)
Dairy
Vegan
Severe Nut
Severe Shellfish

Cancellation Policy:

A credit or debit card is required to make all reservations.
Due to the intimate size of our restaurant we operate a cancellation policy, guests are required to provide a deposit of £50 per table to secure the reservation.
The cancellation fee reflects the cost of food, drink and staffing incurred by us in anticipation of the booking and loss of revenue from the empty table.
All cancellations require advance notification of at least 48 hours via email; otherwise a fee of at least £50 per reservation will be applicable. The same charge will apply to no-shows.
In the event of a cancellation within 48 hours of the arrival date we will keep the whole payment as a cancellation charge. If we are able to re-let the booking we will refund the payment. In the event of a cancellation outside of 48 hours of the arrival date, we will refund the payment. Cancellations at any time will be subject to a £1.50 processing fee. Reservations that are transferred to a new date will not be subject to the processing fee.
The processing fee is reflective of the cost to us from our payment provider for taking your payment:
Application fees: £0.60 Stripe processing fees: £0.90
Within seven days prior to your reservation, our team will contact you to reconfirm your booking. If we have not received reconfirmation from you at least 24 hours prior to your reservation time, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and resell your table.

KONJÖ Reservations

All reservation and ordering links from JÖRO Restaurant for our KONJÖ locations are handled through the chosen third party of the Food Hall operator. Please read the terms & conditions for the location chosen as they are responsible.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. JÖRO Restaurant reserves the right to refuse the use of vouchers after the expiry date. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Vouchers must be declared at the time of booking. All gift vouchers are sent via post currently.

Gift Voucher Redemption

Please bring your physical voucher along as printed on the day when visiting us, presenting it at your table when you arrive. Any additional expenditure on your bill above the amount stated on this voucher must be paid in full at the end of your meal.
Gift vouchers are redeemable for food & drink at JÖRO restaurant and stays at House of JÖRO only. Package vouchers cannot be redeemed in conjunction with other offers.

House of JÖRO Bedroom Reservations

Booking terms and conditions: A 50% deposit of the reservation total is taken at the point of booking to secure the reservation. We operate a 7 day cancellation policy. Should you fail to cancel your reservation at least 7 days prior to your arrival then the full cost of your accommodation will be deducted from your credit card as a cancellation fee. The same charges will apply to no-shows. If the booking is cancelled at least 7 days prior to your reservation date, the deposit will be refunded.
Cancellations at any time will be subject to a £1.50 processing fee. Reservations that are transferred to a new date will not be subject to the processing fee.
The processing fee is reflective of the cost to us from our payment provider for taking your payment:
Application fees: £0.60 Stripe processing fees: £0.90
Cancellations within 7 days of reservations can be transferred to a new date only.
We reserve the right to charge for the cost of any damage done to the rooms or items missing following check out.
We operate a £165 fee for any significant disruptive behaviour, this is in place to cover the cost of any refunds issued to other guests as a result of this. We are a small premises, so politely ask that guests respect our space and that of other guests. Please note House of JÖRO is resident only.
Where Exclusive hire of House of JÖRO is booked, we operate a 50% deposit policy of total package price; including pre-booked dinner packages.

Payment

All online payments conducted through JÖRO Restaurant are handled through a third party payment gateway to guarantee your protection. Please read the terms & conditions for the payment gateway chosen for the transaction as they are responsible for the transactions made.

If we do not receive this notice we will not be able to provide you with some or all elements of our breakfast offering. Whilst we follow best practice at all times, we would like to state that all dishes we serve are produced in an environment where allergens are also prepared and cooked. We therefore are unable to guarantee that the environment will be completely allergen free. Please Note- We are unable to cater for Vegan and Dairy Free menus.

How and where do we store data?

We only keep your personal data for as long as we need to. in order to use it as described in this privacy policy, and/or for as long as we have your permission to keep it.
For reservations taken through ResDiary software, your data will only be stored in the UK. ResDiary data is stored securely in data centres managed by Rackspace. Profiling

We may analyse your personal information to create a profile of your interests and preferences so that we can contact you with information relevant to you. We may make use of additional information about you when it is available from external sources to help us do this effectively. in an identifiable format for the least amount of time necessary to fulfil our legal or We retain Personal Data regulatory obligations and for our business purposes.

Your choices

We will not contact you for marketing purposes by email, phone or text message unless you have given your prior consent. We will not pass your details to any third parties for marketing purposes unless you have expressly permitted us to. Restaurant groups

We may share your information (such as meal or seating preferences and special occasions) with other venues within the same restaurant group such as our hotel accommodation or at Konjö. This is to enhance the hospitality experience that we Jöro Restaurant provide you when you dine with us (such as, trying to seat you by a window, if you previously expressed a preference for window seating) (“customised service”) and to improve our table and shift planning.
In addition to providing you with more customised service, we may, as permitted by applicable law, share your information with our restaurant affiliates to support operations, such as to perform analytics, tailor marketing to you, support a loyalty program that you have chosen to participate in, and improve services.
