‘La Patagua’ project set out to create excellent value wines, as naturally as possible, that faithfully reflect the place they come from. All fruit is sourced from old, dry-farmed vineyards planted on their own rootstock.

A collaboration between an importer and winemaker Luca Hodgkinson. All fruit is sourced from old, dry-farmed Chilean vineyards planted on their own root-stock. Unfiltered and unfined.

Their second wine from the project gives us a juicy blend of Carignan and local grape variety Pais.

The result is a moreish red packed with black and red berry fruit, pepper spice, and a delicate note of violet on the finish.

The fruit is soft and juicy, dry, structured, but no harsh tannins. La Cueva is a real crowd pleaser of a natural wine
