Meet The Maker: Château Picoron 🍇

The first in our Meet The Maker series – a new way to meet the faces and hear first-hand from the experts behind some of the drinks on our list.

We’ll gather across communal tables in the JÖRO bar for a relaxed, expert-led tasting – ideal for the wine curious, the Bordeaux sceptics, and anyone who enjoys hearing it straight from the source.

We’re kicking things off with an evening spent around the table with Camille Lanyou, winemaker at Château Picoron – a rare chance to taste, question and learn directly from the person shaping the wines.

Together with the JÖRO team, Camille will guide you through a selection of wines from Picoron’s organically farmed Bordeaux estate, unpacking vineyard practices, winemaking decisions and what modern, low-intervention Bordeaux really looks like today. Insight-led, informal and designed for those who want to go deeper than the label.

Château Picoron is owned by the Kalyk family, who have transitioned the estate to organic farming with a focus on handmade, great-value wines that stay true to Bordeaux’s heritage and traditional grape varieties – without losing freshness or drinkability.

Your ticket includes:
• Guided flight of wines from the Château Picoron portfolio 🍷
• Crumb Bakery sourdough & cultured butter 🥖🧈
• Losada Gordal olives 🫒
• 9-month aged Manchego with wildflower honey 🧀

Please note: due to the nature of the event, dietary requirements cannot be catered for.
